
What’s your cancellation policy?
We require a 20% deposit. If you cancel within 48 hours of your trip, you will lose your deposit. If the captain cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, your deposit will be refunded.
Do we pick up on the mainland?
Of course anywhere from Tyndall, AFB to Carrabelle, FL for fishing trips. We can travel as far as needed for multiple day trips paid in advance. We reserve the right to charge extra for fuel if it make sense.
Do you have customer service?
Of course! My lovely wife Laney is available to answer your questions 7am to 8pm most days to take your call. We will answer text messages and emails outside of these hours when able.
What kind of boat and equipment do we have?
We have a 26ft TwinVee catamaran with dual 2018 Suzuki 175 HP four stroke outboard engines that are whisper quiet. We also have an enclosure to provide respite from the rain, wind and sun. The Sea Sherpa is equipped with an Emergency Personal Locator Beacon (EPIRB), 24 mile Furuno Radar, MEI registered US Coast Guard approved offshore radio, 8 Person USCG life raft and all the latest safety and signaling equipment in a floating ditch bag (food, water, etc). There is an emergency portable toilet on board as well. We provide rod, reels, and bait. If you have your own personal rod that you would prefer to use, that is ok too.
How much does it cost, what are the rates?
We have multiple trips available starting at:
4 hour in-shore - $450
5 hour gulf trip - $650
Each additional hour - $100
Can I bring my kids?
Kids are always welcome. Please let us know ahead of time, their age and weight so we have the proper life jackets. If the kids are not into fishing, we can also drop part of your party off at the beach while the rest of you go fishing.
What should you bring with to the dock?
Fishing Licenses Rods, reels, bait, and tackle are included. Ice is provided, but please bring your own food and drinks unless you have arranged for lunch with us ahead of time. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, no glass bottles. Please bring sunscreen, bug spray, hat, and rain gear in case of unforeseen weather.
Do I need a fishing license?
No, the fishing license is included in your trip.
What type of bait do we use?
The fresher the better. Live pinfish, alewife squirrel fish, pilchers, etc. If we cant catch all the live bait we want that morning we always bring 5-10lbs of fresh or flash / frozen bait for each person. That's in addition to our special chum. Big baits = Big fish! We never refreeze bait.
What equipment do we use?
Only the best Penn rods and Reels with top notch line, fluorocarbon leaders, and the finest circle hooks. We spare no expense when it comes to tackle.
We have older people, or people with disabilities in our party what do you recommend?
Bring them! We will do what ever we can to give them the best experience possible. Give us a heads up so we can make a plan.
